House of EMB is an independent media company founded in 2026 by Betteke Besselink.

Based in the Netherlands, the company operates across television, entertainment, content development and the wider creative industry. House of EMB was founded by Betteke Besselink after more than 25 years of experience in the television and media industry.

During her career, Betteke has worked in production, sales, business development, leadership and organisational change. She has been involved in both the creative and commercial sides of the industry and understands what is required to turn ambition into a viable project.

Her experience has shaped a broad perspective. She knows how productions are built, how client relationships develop, how teams perform under pressure and how companies must adapt in a constantly changing market.

Betteke is particularly strong at recognising potential and creating momentum around it. She connects people, identifies opportunities and brings structure to situations that need greater clarity. Her working style is direct, engaged and collaborative, with a strong sense of responsibility for both the process and the final result.

The decision to establish House of EMB grew from a long-held ambition to build an independent company. It creates space to develop original work, enter into new partnerships and contribute to projects that benefit from a combination of experience, entrepreneurship and creative judgement.

The name House of EMB is based on Betteke’s initials. The word “House” reflects the broader ambition behind the company: to build a place where different disciplines, perspectives and talents can come together.
